Business Development Executive

Edward Reed are looking for a Business Development Executive to join the expanding team at Glass Digital to further drive growth through new business. Our client Glass Digital is a leading and dynamic digital marketing agency based in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will report to their Client Services Director and work alongside a team of talented, experienced and innovative marketers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish new business relationships across the UK
  • Manage communication with internal teams throughout the pitch process
  • Create and present new business presentations to potential clients
  • Maintain relationships with new business prospects and key influencers
  • Achieve agreed targets relating to activity and revenue to develop the sales pipeline
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking events

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Self-motivated
  • Results-driven and commercially aware
  • Proven track record in driving new business
  • Strong email, phone, and face-to-face communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Confident presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a B2B business development role

Desirable

  • Understanding of SEO, PPC and affiliate marketing
  • Experience within an agency environment
