Neuron Wellness is a health tech start-up, founded by Dr Julia Jones, dedicated to challenging, disrupting and reshaping the outdated diet, fitness and pharma models of good health. We are helping people live healthier, longer lives by adopting the latest proven science, smart wellness habits and technology. Our approach is specifically designed to help target the known risk factors driving chronic cardio-metabolic illnesses and neurodegenerative diseases.

Since launch in 2019 a number of leading employers have purchased the Neuron Wellness smart wellness content including Apple, SAP, Wickes PLC, Unilever and Vitality.

The business is well funded by a combination of venture capital and private investors including Steph McGovern the award-winning former BBC Breakfast business presenter and now host of Channel 4’s daily show ‘Steph’s Packed Lunch’.

The Role

  • Achieving monthly sales targets through establishing new business and maximising sales with existing customers
  • Meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits (occasional but regular UK travel)
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Attending trade exhibitions & conferences
  • Reviewing sales performance
  • Negotiating contracts and packages
  • Help to structure a franchise model in 2023 following proof of concept of the “high street” pilot centre the company has recently opened in Kent (at its head office)

The Person

  • Probably a graduate
  • 5+ years relevant sales experience
  • Self-motivated and driven by targets
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving & exceeding sales targets
  • A real desire to find new business
  • The ability to influence and negotiate with others
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent customer engagement & management skills
  • Resilience
  • Strong verbal & grammatical written communication skills
  • Strong numerical & IT skills
  • A full driving licence
  • Already leading a healthy lifestyle and interested in further improving their own personal health and wellness through the latest smart wellness tech devices and science
